Help for family caregivers

Our team teaches you easy ways to help with turning, bathing, and keeping your loved one comfortable. We also bring supplies like incontinence products and skin care items to your home.

How often aides visit

Aide visits are part of your loved one's care plan and are scheduled around their needs. As needs change, the schedule changes too. Aides visit for set periods of time and don't stay in the home around the clock.

Common questions

Can visits happen at the times we need most?

We plan visits with you and adjust the schedule as needs change. Tell your nurse which times of day are hardest, and we'll work around them where we can.

Do you provide 24-hour caregivers?

No. Hospice aides visit on a schedule, and a nurse is on call 24/7. If your family needs more help at home, our social worker can talk through options, including private-duty caregivers.

Do we need to buy supplies?

Supplies related to the hospice diagnosis, such as incontinence products and skin care items, are provided as part of hospice care.
