Common questions

Will pain medicine make my loved one sleep all the time?

Not usually. The goal is comfort with as much alertness as your loved one wants. We adjust doses carefully and talk with you about any changes you notice.

What happens if symptoms get worse at night?

Call our main number. A hospice nurse answers 24/7, can guide you over the phone, and can visit when needed.

Who orders the medications?

The hospice physician works with your loved one's own doctor. Medications related to the hospice diagnosis are delivered to your home.
